“Role of Private, Public Sector and Civil Society”
19th December 2017, 0930 Hrs, Hotel Hilton, Chennai
The social and environmental consequences of a disaster are increasingly complex and intertwined. Systematic as well as innovated strategies are needed to manage the impacts of a disaster. Issues caused by water, be it through flood, drought, etc. are causing adverse effect on our day to day life and needs immediate, effective intervention.
For the sustainability and economic growth of any country water plays a vital role along with other ingredients. No country can meet its development objectives without improving the way its water resources are managed.
