Since 2005, the India Innovation Summit has been the nation's premier gathering place for thought leaders, innovators and investors from around the globe. The event showcased various facets of innovation for the last twelve years ranging from innovation as an imperative to innovation from the region and progressed to unveil innovation in start-ups, inclusive growth, and now as the new wealth of nations.
In the current times of geopolitical rebalancing, innovation-led business became the prime driver of differentiation between the developed and developing nations. The asset-driven and regulation-based industries of the past era are giving into the innovation-centric and open market, digital businesses. The vast human capital puts India at a vantage point, while making us dependent on our own ability to ideate, create, network and collaborate with other nations to deliver the results on the ground. The theme of the 13th innovation summit, therefore, has rightly been chosen as: The New wealth of Nations – Innovation and Intellectual capital.
To incorporate an experiential dimension in addition to the intellectual debate on the above topic, the exhibition track is introduced this year to showcase some novel and emerging solutions across different industry sectors. Therefore, the pavilions provide the canvas to display and demonstrate the real world solutions to the visitors with a touch and feel mode to add an element of realism and excitement. There are six industry pavilions covering Agriculture, Automotive, Aerospace, Healthcare, Retail and VR/AR in specific and one general pavilion to host various demo stations.
As ever, the summit strives to answer only one question: how can we live better. And happier.
