27th February 2017, Visakhapatnam: CII Visakhapatnam Zone Annual Meeting held here today.
Mr D Tirupati Raju has been appointed as Chairman, CII Visakhapatnam Zone for the year 2017-18. Mr Datla Tirupati Raju is a Master in Management and Graduate in Botany from Andhra University. With Biodynamic Association of India and getting trained in organic cultivation in 2005 established M/s. Vijayanagar Group, an Agriculture based value added products manufacturing company. He is actively involved in Maize crop development and involved in the development of increasing crop yields, improvising harvesting methods, pre -processing quality parameters and also in the Development of coconut value addition as per the USFDA Standards. Recently, he has added one more feather to his cap by establishing Vijayanagar Food & Nutraceuticals Ltd with a focus to produce value added products from coconut.
Mr. G Murali Krishna, MD & CEO, Fluentgrid Ltd was appointed as Vice Chairman of the CII Visakhapatnam Zone for the year 2017-18. He is a visionary entrepreneur and a second generation technocrat with more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing and IT industries. He is highly passionate about technology, innovation and greener solutions. He established Phoenix IT Solutions (Currently known as Fluentgrid Ltd ) in the year 2001 and in a span of around 15 years has articulated the company as the most respected turnkey system integrator for energy, utilities and Smart Cities sector. Fluentgrid primarily caters to distribution utilities like power, gas and water leveraging smart grid technologies and is now extending its solutions to smart communities and smarter cities.
On the occasion of this special day, CII Visakhapatnam Zone has also organised an Interactive Session with Mr P Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Hon’ble Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Government of India. The main objective of this session was to explore various opportunities in the field of Civil Aviation as far as Visakhapatnam is concerned. The discussions revolved around promoting Visakhapatnam a Multimodal Logistics Hub, development in the areas of air cargo facilities, ways to further increase the no. of footfalls at the Visakhapatnam Airport.
Mr K Hari Babu, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Visakhapatnam Constituency graced the occasion with his presence & addressed the august gathering with the updates on the upcoming & ongoing development initiatives in Visakhaaptnam and Andhra Pradesh.
