CII, JUSCO & TATA Steel jointly celebrated WED 2012 with the theme “ Green Economy: Does it include You”. On this occasion, a plastic road ( road made of waste plastic) was inaugurated by Sr. Supt. Of Police Mr. Akhilesh Kumar Jha in the presence of Mr. A T Mishra, DFO, Dhalbhumgarh & Saraikela & Mr Sanjiv Paul, Past Chairman, CII Jharkhand State Council. It was followed by a rally to the plantation site, where sapling plantation were done by guests in the presence of Mrs. Surekha Nerurkar & Mrs. Srimanti Sen. On the day, Jharkhand also witnessed the inauguration of its first Compost Plant operated by JUSCO. It was followed up by the release of a booklet on “Green Economy” & prize distribution to the winners of CII Environment poster competition organised on 26 May 2012.
