CII has taken up the agenda of “Business for Livelihood” for the year 2011-12. This converges the fundamental themes of spreading growth to disadvantaged sections of society and building skills.

Against this backdrop, CII-PARFI in association with District administration of East Singhbhum is launching a Rural Skill Gurukul, at Jamshedpur; the formal signing of MoU took place on 30 June 2012, 1130 hrs, , Jamshedpur. On this, occasion Mr. Tarun Daga Chairman CII Jamshedpur Zonal Council & MD Tata Tinplate, Mr. Kalyan Chakarborty lead sewak PARFI Ms. Himani Pande IAS, DC East Singhbhum, Mr. Dadan Choubey DDC East Singhbhum and Mr. Akhliesh Jha SSP East Singhbhum were present.
