Quality Circles play a very important role in involving a wide cross section of employees in an organization for improving quality within an organization through participation,  with this objective CII HPSO organized 25th Quality circle preliminary competition on 21 September 2012 at hotel Gianz, Baddi.  The competition  included presentations by eleven Quality Circle teams from  Secure Meters, Rockman Industries Ltd, Vardhman Textiles Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra, Gabriel India Ltd, Tata Motors Ltd, Bharat Electronics Ltd, Denso India Ltd. The Parivarthan Team from TATA Motors was adjudged the winner and was awarded the ‘Winners Trophy’. The ‘First Runner-up Trophy’ was won by Kanzen Quality Circle from Mahindra & Mahindra and Umang Quality Circle from Vardhman Textiles Ltd bagged the ‘Second Runner-up Rolling Trophy.

Chief guest for this competition was Mr C N Dhar, Chairman, CII HP State Council,  The Panel of Judges included Mr P Nagaraj Kanna, Head - Production, TVS Motor Company, Mr A K Jain, Director, System Advisers and Mr K K Korla, General Manager- HR, DCM Engineering. The Competition was well attended by over 120 participants comprising of Workmen; Quality and HR heads from Industry.
