CII Haryana at its Annual session organized a Panel discussion on “Emerging face of Haryana: Diverse & Dynamic sectors” at Gurgaon.  The Panel included eminent speakers from various sectors like Mr T L Satyaprakash, Director Industries, Government of Haryana,  Mr Jayant Davar, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Sandhar Technologies Ltd, Mr Sudhir Dhingra, Managing Director, Orientcraft Ltd, Mr Rajiv Gandhi, Vice President Production, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Mr Manish Kashyap, Managing Director, Transaction Management Group, CBRE, Mr Anmol Jain, Senior Executive Director, Lumax Industries Ltd, Mr Neeraj Munjal, Managing Director, Shivam Autotech Ltd, Mr Sandeep Dhupia, Partner, KPMG India, Dr Amit Kapoor, Honorary Chairman, Institute of Competitiveness.

The panel came forth to discuss the intricacies of augmentation in the overall development of Haryana. The speakers shared their perspectives in terms of the requirements for the respective sectors keeping in mind the various challenges that they face and support structure required for sustaining its growth.

“We need to build trust amongst our labour by knowing them, interacting with them and not differentiating on the basis of wages.” said Mr Sudhir Dhingra Managing Director, Orientcraft Ltd.
Mr T L Satyaprakash, Director Industries, Government of Haryana said that “Industry needs to focus on Cluster Platforms for collective growth”

Mr Jayant Davar, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Sandhar Technologies Ltd said “Each one of us needs to put our hands and heads together to bring the required change.”

The panel drove consensus that in order to ensure and sustain the impressive progress, the state of Haryana has witnessed thus far, we need to consciously plan, with all the concerned stakeholders, an effective and practical roadmap which takes cognizance of the future requirement of these sectors which are responsible for this growth. Haryana’s industrial base, though fundamentally strong, needs innovative policy measures to be competitive in order to counter global challenges and economic uncertainities.

The session was attended by several members from NCR and also included several key industrialists from across Haryana.
