CII Himachal Pradesh State organized a Seminar on Total Cost Management on 20 March 2013 at CII Chandigarh, Mr Nagesh Babu, a Senior Counselor at CII Total Cost Management Division, Hyderabad  was the resource person for this seminar.

During the seminar, Participant were apprised of the following  Cost Management tools and methods :

• knowledge on the techniques for effective cost management and increased profitability
• Activity Based Costing (ABC), Activity Based management (ABM), Target Costing (TC), Balanced Score Card etc.
• Holistic framework to control, reduce and eliminate costs

Seminar was very well attended by the delegates from the various organizations  based at Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh  and Punjab.
