The CII Theme for 2012-13, ‘Reviving Economic Growth: Reforms and Governance,’ accords top priority to restoring the growth trajectory of the nation, while building Global Competitiveness, Inclusivity and Sustainability. Towards this, CII advocacy for the Economy will aim for measures to increase fund inflows, fiscal consolidation, and structural reforms, both at the Centre and in the States, spanning Agriculture, Manufacturing, MSMEs, Infrastructure, Technology and Energy. On Governance, the focus would be on electoral reforms and effective regulation for core sectors. Alongside, the Agenda will take our efforts and initiatives in Affirmative Action, Skill Development, and International Engagement to the next level.
