In order to fasten the process of adoption of Energy Efficiency measures, the fastest way to create a cascading affect is learn from the best and as a responsible organisation, share the best with others.

CII, through its Centre of Excellence for Competitiveness, has been actively working with businesses in enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability through consulting on resource efficiency including energy audit and energy performance analysis, GHG Accounting & Mitigation, Developing Net Zero emission roadmap, training programs, workshops, technology conferences and competitions etc.

Over the past eight editions of CII National Energy Efficiency Circle Competition has witnessed participation of over 4500 professionals from 1800+ organizations who presented and learned from over 4000 world-class case studies in energy efficiency and sustainability. As a result, 300+ organizations have won prestigious awards under more than 10 competition categories, leading to recognition and motivation. Additionally, over 1,000 innovative green technologies and solutions have been demonstrated, and many companies have showcased significant reductions in GHG impacts and specific energy consumption, up to 20 - 25% over the last 6-7 years. 

The Energy Circle Competition on show casing the best practices on energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption and Climate Action from best-in-class organisations has demonstrated more than nineteen hundred case studies in its last seven edition. The 9^th edition of CII National Energy Efficiency Circle Competition scheduled on Thursday and Friday 10 – 11 July 2025 aims at bringing together best in class energy managers and sustainability professionals of the country to compete and share best practices from their respective organisations under ten broad competition categories. The competition can be attended physically at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

More than four hundred Businesses, Industry, Technology Provider & Institutions including Designated Consumers under PAT Scheme will compete & share their success stories on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and climate action with an aim to learn & scale up efforts on climate action, demonstrate their commitment to contribute towards Net Zero Emission targets of the Country and win coveted awards and recognition.
