India - Italy Business, Science & Technology Forum

We are pleased to inform you that a high-level Ministerial and business delegation of around 100+ members from Italy led by H.E. Mr Antonio Tajani, The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs accompanied by H.E. Mrs Anna Maria Bernini, Minister of University and Research are visiting India from 10 – 11 April 2025.

India and Italy have a long-standing bilateral economic relationship that spans over 2000 years, dating back to the Roman era. In recent years, Italy has become India's 4th largest trading partner in the European Union with bilateral trade at USD 14.56 billion in the year 2023-24. Italy is the 18^th largest foreign investor in India, with a cumulative FDI inflow of $3.53 billion from January 2000 to December 2023.

On the occasion of this important visit, CII in partnership with the Embassy of Italy and Italian Trade Agency in India is organizing the India - Italy Business, Science & Technology Forum on 11^th April 2025 at The Imperial Hotel, New Delhi. The objective of this forum is to support and strengthen business relations between the two countries and will compromise of a networking lunch followed by prefixed Business to Business meetings.

The Italian delegation will comprise of leading companies representing the following sectors :

• Industry and Agriculture 4.0, Energy Transition
• Recycling and Green Tech
• Infrastructure, Mobility and smart cities
• New Age Technologies – Aerospace, New & Advanced Materials, AI, Quantum Tech, Cyber Security
• Innovation & Start up - Accelerators, Investors / Private Equity, JVs, Research Institutions & Universities
