India Skills Forum: Advancing Innovation & Inclusion
IBM has been working with government leaders and other stakeholders to help build a pool of talent equipped with new collar skills in India. Some of its notable initiatives include Teacher’s Try Science, Watson Teacher Advisor and Skills Academy.
To further their commitment, IBM is announcing a set of new initiatives with a focus on enabling women in technology at its upcoming India Skills Forum: Advancing Innovation & Inclusion. Supported by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), which has been driving the Skill India agenda since 1987, the event will focus primarily on skills and programs designed by IBM to help girls and women succeed in technology careers, with a special emphasis on the latest developments in AI vis-à-vis education.
I am writing to invite you to join us at the Skills Summit to hear from leaders and thinkers in the field. The Event will witness presence of multiple stakeholders including senior leaders from business, government, academia and education. In addition, IBM Chairman, President and CEO Ginni Rometty along with members of IBM’s global leadership team and CII Presidium will participate.
The event will be held on Monday, 11 March, 2019 from 1500 to 1700 Hrs in New Delhi and will be followed by High Tea. Registration and a networking lunch will begin at 1400 Hrs.
