"Challenges for HR in a Digitalized Work Place"

In every industry across the world, companies are going through unprecedented transformation. This is particularly evident in people management these days. The forces of globalisation, talent constraints and new technology are driving rapid change in HR function. Other key technology factors reshaping the role of human resources are mobility, data analytics, cloud computing and social media. This is the reason why most businesses today are turning to technology, as it allows employees to work virtually, also giving them the right skill sets, regardless of geography.

As a result of these forces, HR executives are facing the following core challenges:
1. Balancing the global and the local work Culture in context of BYOD?
How to find a balance between a global and local focus? You need to ensure that HR programs and systems meet the local needs of employees.

2. Challenges of Mobile computing devises and the challenges they bring on privacy in context of POSH?
Employer is entrusted with the responsibility of protecting interest of women at work place with policies like POSH, the same becomes extremely challenging when bundled with mobile computing devises, how should HR look into new challenges of apps on mobile computing devises like tinder vis-a-vis POSH.

3. PDPA and New Data security challenges while working through Digital employees operating through recruitment agencies.
