The Indian D2C landscape is changing rapidly, not only it has caused disruptions in the country but also given us insights into the rising focus of leading players in the digital space. We maintain our view that D2C and new age brands would scale up and gain size 5x over the next five years. In this report, we analyse how the D2C brands leverage technology to reach out to the consumers and the role that the government could play in supporting and promoting the budding SME players in India with the help of technology.
