Eligibility

Design

1. The entry submitted for the CII Design Excellence Award has to be designed for/designed in India and manufactured & marketed in India.
2. Submitted by a company registered in India

Period

1. Design must be fully commissioned and in market or usage at the time of entry
2. The Design must have been realized in the calendar year of 2011 or 2012
3. Hand made products or prototypes cannot apply.
4. The entry should be complete in all respects. If the entry is a part of a larger system it is not eligible.
5. The entries must comply with the standards applicable in India.
