Mr Chandrajit Banerjee,  Director General, CII, said "CII wholeheartedly supports the Government of India’s decision to carry out a resolute and decisive response to the heinous terrorist attack at Pahalgam. India's clear stance against terrorism is a testament and commitment to defending national interests.

CII reassures its steadfast support to the Hon’ble Prime Minister for his leadership during the challenging times. It is his foresight which CII believes would lead the nation to the right outcomes. India today is on firm economic grounds and has global confidence among investors and beyond. The relationships built by India under the country’s leadership has enabled Indian businesses to gain strong credibility and Indian industry is devoted to creating a virtuous cycle for economic growth and development.

CII also conveys its full solidarity and stands united with the Armed Forces for supporting—be it through logistics, supplies, equipment, technology, or any other requirement. Our industry ecosystem is capable, responsive, and committed to supporting the national effort." Said Mr Banerjee.
