Under the aegis of the Digital India Mission by the Government of India, CII organised the Digital India Summit in April 2015 in New Delhi. The report titled - 'Industry Recommendation for Digital India Initiative', prepared jointly by CII and EY, is an amalgamation of the different views and opinions expressed at the Summit. It highlights the key recommendations in each of the four themes viz. overcoming India's last mile challenge, delivering critical services through a universal, verifiable digital identity, digital workforce and tackling structural issues for developing business models for digital India, for government and industry in creating India’s digital future and also provides case studies for reference.
