This report, published jointly by CII and Panacea Infosec Pvt. Ltd., explores India's digital payments landscape in the context of Reserve Bank of India and Government's initiative which seek to address the issues of financial inclusion and market readiness to reach all Indians.
The report also explores recommendations aimed at meeting the RBI's Vision 2021 goals and how national initiatives like smart cities can serve as a catalyst for citizens to move from cash first to less cash modes.
The report was prepared against the backdrop of the CII Conference on Digital & Cashless Economy held on 26 July 2019 in New Delhi.
