CII in association with its Knowledge Partner, Gyan Research & Analytics released a publication against the backdrop of the MSME Conclave 2014: Enhancing the Competitiveness of MSME organized by CII on 18 July, 2014 in Ghaziabad.
Despite an elaborate and dynamic policy framework, the progress of Indian MSMEs continues to be hindered by constraints such as poor credit availability, low levels of branding and marketing outreach, infrastructure and inadequate knowledge of international business for sourcing and customer development.
The paper surveys the MSME landscape in India and attempts to deliberate on various issues impacting MSME’s growth. Interrelated sections on Delayed Payments, MSME Financing & Risk Management, Branding & Marketing Outreach, Government Initiatives, State Level MSMED Act, Public Procurement Policy, Simplification of Labour Laws and State Levels SME Schemes are dealt with. In addition an overview of the MSME sector in Uttar Pradesh is also provided.
The detailed session plan, faculty and sponsors profiles are also detailed.
