Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in collaboration with the Intellectual Property Right office India, under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), have selected twelve (12) clusters out of 39 clusters under the Industrial Infrastructure Upgradation Scheme (IIUS), for conducting IP Awareness programs.
The main objective of these training programmes was to sensitize the clusters about Intellectual Property Rights and their protection procedure and to advice on protectable innovations. This will help the clusters to utilize the IP information in their business development.
In the year 2013, CII had conducted four Cluster awareness programs on IP for the Textile, Plastic/Polymer, Leather and Auto clusters to create Intellectual Property awareness among the specific clusters so as to encourage these clusters to promote Intellectual Property Rights protection.
This report belongs to the Plastic/Polymer Cluster.
