CII in association with their Knowledge Partners, International Society of Automation (ISA) and ARC Advisory Group released a publication titled “Smart Manufacturing: Leveraging Technologies for Greater Productivity” during the CII Pune Annual Day held on 12 February, 2015 at Pune.
The objective of this discussion paper is to educate the industry about the Smart Manufacturing Concept and benefits of the same. This will be followed up by various initiatives on Smart Manufacturing during the year and will conclude with a Smart Manufacturing Conclave in December 2015.
It is brought out that Smart Manufacturing as a model and practice will occupy a very important space in the mind map of manufacturing companies and service companies associated with the manufacturing sector.
