The
challenges related to the employability and entrepreneurship scenario in our
country are reasonably understood by all relevant stakeholders. However,
different stakeholders have a different role to play for addressing these
challenges. More importantly, the nature of challenges also varies with
institutes. The. ‘One size Fits All’ approach might not be the most efficient
answer to the problem.
The topic
of improving employability and entrepreneurship has clearly gained momentum and
some initial efforts are already visible. The momentum needs to be built
further and channelled in the right direction to harness the true potential of
the ‘demographic dividend’.
The
document covers the issues pertaining to all stakeholders, it also details
the Higher Education, Employment and
Entrepreneurship Scenario in India and the way forward.
