Whether businesses race to keep a competitive edge over their peer groups or struggle to pull through a recessionary economy, effective project management is the mantra for success. Capitalizing on people and processes to give more and better services & products to the customer is the only hedge against losing the ultimate business challenge: Survival of the Fittest.
Project Management is more than just ensuring that products and services are delivered on time and within budget, it also offers a means of balancing assets including personnel, equipment, customer needs, competitive advantage and future market success. It dwells on the activities and the decisions that improve business results in the long run. Project Management directly relates to positive business results, and harnessing that power can be a distinguishing feature of a strong leader within the organization.
With the above in view, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in support of the Project Management Institute (PMI) organized the Second Edition of the Conference on Project Management on 14-15 December 2011 in Bangalore.
