CII in association with its Knowledge Partner, Verde Ventures Pvt. Ltd released a report titled “Work Place Fire Risk Management & Emergency Preparedness – A Study Report” against the backdrop of the 7th Safety Symposium & Exposition 2013 organised by CII on 19-20 September, 2013 at Kolkata.
The report presents the current scenario of industrial fire risks and emergency preparedness to meet the potential emergency situations arising out of a fire incident. The objective is to incorporate the outcome of this study in today's perspective and derive some generalized conclusions which can benefit the managers of industries today. The focus is on an objective evaluation of the current scenario and the vulnerability with respect to Fire Risk Management.
