India’s exports of HS Code 870840, comprising gear boxes and parts for tractors, heavy passenger vehicles, heavy commercial vehicles, special purpose vehicles, etc., have recorded a noticeable growth, rising from US$ 189 million in 2011 to US$ 353 million in 2020, logging a CAGR of 7% during this period. This report has been prepared with the overarching objective of providing an in-depth assessment of India’s exports of HS Code 870840.
