Human Resource is one of the most important resources for any organization in today’s world. Yet there is very little visibility on how organizations deal with this resource. How are the HR practices in organizations, especially in the SME sector?
The SME sector is a growing sector and forms a very important part in India’s success story. We were interested in knowing how the HR processes are, in this sector. What are their policies and practices? What are the key strengths and weaknesses? Are these practices uniform across sectors and states? These were the questions to which we sought answers to. The study was carried out by visiting the premises of the SME and having a detailed discussion with the owner.
