A study was commissioned by CII & UNICEF and conducted by Tata Strategic Management Group (TSMG) on the existing models of corporate engagement in the field of education.
The findings of the study and analysis of different models each one showcasing how corporate can engage with education in their own unique way while streamlining with the overarching objective of RTE have been put together in a compendium - 'Best Practices of CSR in the field of education in India'.
Bharti Foundation, HSBC, ICICI, PRATHAM, Akshya Patra, Infosys Foundation are some of the organisations covered in the compendium. This compendium was launched on 14th December 2010 in New Delhi in a conference 'Universalisation of Education - Role of Corporate India' organised by CII & UNICEF.
