CII released its flagship report, “Navigating the Future of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) in India,” at the Ministry of Civil Aviation during the Budget Session. The report was unveiled by Shri Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, Hon’ble Minister of Civil Aviation.
The report presents a strategic and technical blueprint for integrating Advanced Air Mobility into India’s urban transport fabric. Using a hypothetical Gurugram–Connaught Place–Jewar Airport corridor, it examines time efficiency, airspace integration, infrastructure readiness, public acceptance, and safety, while outlining tiered vertiport development, resilient energy systems, and enabling financing mechanisms, including leasing frameworks through GIFT City. It also sets out a phased roadmap, beginning with high-social-impact missions such as medical logistics and air ambulance services.
