CII North East CSR Connect 2025: Driving Impactful Development in India’s North East
The second edition of CII North East CSR Connect is set to bring together key stakeholders from the corporate, government, and civil society sectors to forge strategic, region-specific partnerships aimed at unlocking the immense potential of North East India. Scheduled for 17 September at The Lalit, New Delhi, this high-impact conclave will focus on tailored CSR interventions aligned with the unique developmental priorities of the North Eastern States.
North East India, with its rich natural resources and vibrant communities, faces distinctive challenges such as infrastructural gaps and socio-economic disparities. Recognizing these realities, CII Northeast CSR Connect 2025 seeks to deepen collaboration, foster innovation and promote sustainable growth through targeted, state specific strategies. Confirmed participants include the State Governments / CSR authorities of Nagaland, Assam, Mizoram, Tripura, Manipur, Meghalaya and Sikkim, along with the leading corporates, foundations, NGOs and various implementing agencies.
Highlights of this year's edition include the opportunity for one-on-one networking with government representatives from various states, NGOs and implementation partners, fostering collaborations at the grassroots level. Additionally, the event will showcase case studies of high impact CSR projects in the region, illustrating successful models and innovative approaches to development. Other highlights include an exhibition showcasing impactful projects and release of a report on “CSR Investments in the North East India”.
Enhancing socio-economic development in North East India has been a core focus of the CII, which has been committed to fostering sustainable growth through a series of multi-dimensional initiatives. Over the past two decades, CII’s efforts have been directed at mainstreaming the North East by addressing its unique challenges and leveraging its strategic location for economic opportunities.
