Haryana
Haryana today stands among India’s leading economic and industrial powerhouses and is steadily evolving into a future-ready, globally competitive, innovation-driven, and sustainable growth engine for the country. Backed by its strategic location in the National Capital Region (NCR), strong manufacturing base, rapidly expanding services economy, progressive governance framework, and world-class connectivity, the state has emerged as one of the most preferred destinations for domestic and global investments. Guided by the Government’s long-term development roadmap, Haryana Vision 2047, the State aims to transform itself into a trillion-dollar-plus economy with focus on industrial competitiveness, future-ready infrastructure, innovation, sustainability, skilling, urban transformation, and governance reforms. The state also hosts strong traditional manufacturing clusters in plywood and paper products, ceramics, engineering goods, scientific instruments, handloom and textiles, along with a rapidly growing MSME ecosystem. The automobile and auto components industry continues to form the backbone of Haryana’s manufacturing economy, with the state contributing significantly to India’s production of passenger vehicles, tractors, two-wheelers, construction equipment, and mobile cranes. Industrial hubs such as Gurugram-Manesar, Faridabad, Panipat, Sonipat, Karnal, Hisar, and Yamunanagar support extensive supply chains and MSME ecosystems, while Gurugram has also emerged as a major hub for GCCs, startups, IT services, fintech, consulting, and innovation-led enterprises. Infrastructure development remains central to Haryana’s Vision 2047 strategy with over 26,000 km of road network, strong rail connectivity, access to the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) and Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), and proximity to the Indira Gandhi International Airport. Haryana is also investing in multimodal logistics, industrial corridors, digital infrastructure, smart urbanisation, renewable energy, and future- ready industrial parks to support long-term growth. The Government of Haryana has undertaken significant reforms to strengthen Ease and Cost of Doing Business through digital governance, faceless approvals, single-window systems, and investment facilitation mechanisms.
