Panel discussion on ‘World Food Day’
 

This is a proceedings of a panel discussion on ‘World Food Day’ held on 21 October 2021.

The CII National committee on Nutrition (NCN) organized a series of sessions addressing various stakeholders and participants of different cohorts in our food system, including schools, farmers and industry. There are sessions with industry partners to continue to take this agenda forward as part of the EAT Right initiative to organizations/employees/families/college students etc, leveraging private sector innovation and delivery systems to build a resilient and healthier India.

Panel discussion chaired by Ms Vinita Bali , Chairperson CII National Nutrition Committee. Other speakers were Arjuna Awardee and Bronze Medallist, Tokyo 2020 Paralympics- Mr. Manoj Sarkar IDA President- Dr. Jagmeet Madan, Pepsico CHRO- Ms Pavitra Singh, Head-HR and Cofounder and CEO, HealthSetGo- Ms Priya Prakash.

The session focussed on creating awareness about the role of healthy wholesome diet throughout with special emphasis on the importance of breakfast meal in attaining good health and overall quality of life which aligns well with the Eat right movement. Our effort this year are also oriented towards fitness with a focus on “Being Real Fit Ambassadors”, engaging eminent nutrition experts, academicians and celebrity chefs towards mobilizing the community to keep themselves fit and healthy.
