CII in association with its knowledge partner India Ratings & Research released a report on “Globalisation and Development of Indian Capital Markets” against the backdrop of the 6th Capital Market Summit organised by CII on 30 March, 2015 at Mumbai.
The report gives a clear emphasis on the need to evolve investment and finance structures, merging capital markets and other markets to have uniformity in the Indian Financial Markets and evolving India as an offshore International Financial Centre to take the Indian markets to the next level.
It is brought out that the financial securities which the Indian market needs should be such that they meet the specific requirements of domestic industries such as infrastructure, real estate and banking as well as the stringent investment criteria of the global, long-term conservative investor.
