Industry – Interaction Session with Mr Vivek Yadav, IAS, Member Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board organised today at Visakhapatnam
CII Visakhapatnam Zone organised an Interactive Session with Mr Vivek Yadav, IAS, Member Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board on 01 November 2018 at Visakhapatnam.
The objective of this interactive Session was to provide a forum for industry to have direct interaction with the Member Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board on issues related to Environment and Industries.
Mr G Murali Krishna, Chairman, CII Visakhapatnam Zone & MD & CEO, Fluentgrid Ltd welcomed all the delegates to the Interactive Session & briefed them about the dire need of controlling pollution to save our mother earth.
Mr Vivek Yadav, IAS, Member Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board in his special address mentioned about the recent developments at policy level to curb pollution. He also mentioned that Second year in a row; Andhra Pradesh outperformed 28 other states and seven union territories (UTs) to be the best in India to do business in and also has topped the chart in the ‘Ease of Living Index’ rankings under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT).
Member Secretary has also consented to hold these similar interactions at Tirupati and Vijayawada. He also suggested having regular interactions with industries will bring more confidence.
During the interaction participants came up with their issues which was positively responded by the Member Secretary. Mr K V V Raju, Vice Chairman, CII Visakhapatnam Zone and CEO Granuels Omnichem Ltd has proposed the vote of thanks.
The session was well attended by members representing Healthcare, Pharma, Textile and Manufacturing.
