The result of a two year joint collaboration by INSEAD and the OECD Development Centre and supported by the Telefonica Foundation, this report focuses on innovation dynamics in the business and public sectors in Latin America, drawing attention to and learning lessons from innovation experiments underway in the region, and advocating greater policy attention to innovation in the national development strategies.
The InnovaLatino report draws on a variety of resources including:
1) The InnovaLatino Survey 2010 - a survey of firms from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Costa Rica, Mexico,
Peru and Uruguay.
2) Case studies of different sized organisations (eg. from Global Latinas to medium sized firms to entrepreneurs);
and
3) Existing research and indicators from a variety of relevant sources.
